Some call it the road less traveled or maybe it's an uphill climb. I look at it as a journey that I set out on years ago. Similar to paddling a long stretch of river through the Wisconsin wilderness, we're never really sure what's around the next bend. It's been my mission to deliver only the best to those who have graced us with their patronage. In essence, Hinterland is a craft brewery hell bent on perfection and a couple of restaurants delivering a wild harvest to your plate. We hang our hat on preparing tasty, locally raised food alongside an artisinally made beer from our brewery. Cheers! – Bill Tressler
Bill will bring to us the unique flavors and stories from both his craft brewery with a sampling of some staples i.e. Pale Ale, Amber Ale, IPA and Luna Stout plus the brand new Saison and a real treat with their Bourbon Barrel Doppelbock. These questions and many others will be answered while we taste wines made from the classic grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Riesling, Chardonnay, etc. The ABC's class is a great way to establish a knowledge base of wine, grape varieties, winemaking and major wine regions. John will lead you in the professional techniques of tasting and evaluating wine, as we share
the aromas, flavors and the feelings we perceive from all of the fantastic wine selections!
