Ray's "Foodie" Tap Takeover

The gang at Ray's Growler Gallery® loves great food as much as great beer, and we are so happy to throw a party to welcome a brand-new dining option to the Ray-borhood; Sopa Cabana. Sopa Cabana is an authentic New Mexican food stand. Their specialty is the sopapillas. The guys of Sopa Cabana stuff them with savory meats and spicy chile sauces for an entrée, as well as sweet treats for a sweet dessert. To compliment this new culinary adventure, the Growler Gallery® will be featuring a lineup of beers with food-themed flavor profiles like you’d never imagine.

Omnipollo Beer Co., Hilma – “Vanilla Flippin' Burger n' Fries IPA. You saw the viral tweets and it is real. Much more on the Vanilla Milkshake than Burger n' Fries in flavor, it is in the spirit some of the best things on the Epicurian Earth.” Milkshake IPA, 6.5% ABV

Stillwater Artisanal Ales, Kung Pao – “Flavors of chili powder, ginger powder, sichuan pepper powder, sea salt and peanut extract compliment this full-bodied stout.” Imperial Stout, 11.0% ABV

Stillwater Artisanal Ales, Duck Sauce – “The quintessential condiment on every Chinese - American restaurant table acts as a wonderful foil for a hazy IPA. Apricot, plum, pineapple, ginger, and candi syrup make for a thick, decadent drinking experience.” Double IPA, 9.0% ABV

Crooked Stave Artisan Beer Project, Petite Sour Blueberry – “Primarily fermented with house mixed culture of wild yeast, each batch of Petite Sour undergoes a secondary fermentation in large oak foeders with a generous amount of whole fruit.” Wild Ale, 4.5% ABV

M.I.A. Beer Co., Czarface with Hazelnut – “M.I.A.'s one and only Russian Imperial Stout. 7 different malts with layers of chocolate, oats, and caramel. Big body and mouth feel with a thick mocha head complimented with the addition of Hazelnut.” Russian Imperial Stout, 10.0% ABV

Eagle Park Brewing Company, Oko Oh No – “Fruited sour ale with passionfruit and Oko Caribe cacao nibs from the Dominican Republic that was brewed in collaboration with Melt Chocolates.” Fruited Sour, 6.3% ABV
