Ray's Growler Gallery Anniversary Party - Cheers to 5 Years!

Saturday, June 15, 2019 3:00pm - 10:00pm

June 14th, 2014 feels as if it was a million years ago and like it was yesterday, all at the same time. The universe of beer (and subsequently, our tiny speck in Wauwatosa known as the RAY-borhood), has changed by leaps and bounds. Although a historically insignificant date, it was a big one for the gang at Ray's, as it was the day Ray's Growler Gallery first opened its doors. The goal: To be Wisconsin's premier Growler filling station. Strictly "fills only" in the beginning, the goal of the Gallery has bobbed and weaved its way into its current state today, now open five days a week, with the Growler Gurus more than willing to chat brews, challenge you to a friendly game of Willow, or simply pour you a great beer to enjoy on the Gallery patio! A lot has changed since the beginning, but the one constant has been the love and support of you and yours of our little side project. What once was a seemingly simple pet project that aimed to get the good folks of Wauwatosa fresh craft beer that otherwise wouldn't be available by the bottle to your homes, picnics, tailgates and breakfast tables, the Gallery has turned into something so much more than we ever could have conceived! We cannot say THANK YOU enough! We are having an absolute blast and have some pretty neat things coming up that we cannot wait to share with you when the time is right! But for now, let's celebrate with big beer and a big ass cake. We can't wait to see you on Saturday, June 15th!

Here's the Tap List for the day:

Central Waters Brewing Company, Strawberry Guava Sour - "A sour ale fermented with both strawberry and guava that contribute not only their fruit-forward notes, but adds to the pleasant acidity in this beer as well." Fruited Sour 5.7% ABV

Central Waters, Brewer's Reserve Vanilla Bean Stout - "Yeah, this beer spent 1 ½ years in a bourbon barrel eventually aged with vanilla beans to make a layered, decadent treat. But the Growler Gallery has aged for 5 years, talk about layered decadence." Imperial Stout, 9.5% ABV

Eagle Park Brewing Company, Bowie's Space Suit - "New England IPA double dry hopped with Galaxy and Citra served to rocket your spirits into revelry." New England-style IPA, 8% ABV

Third Space Brewing, Mystic Affogato - "Special variant of Mystic knot mimics the flavors of the Affogato coffee dessert (a scoop of vanilla ice cream with a shot of espresso poured over). The best rye whiskey barrels along with Tahitian vanilla, cacao nibs, coffee and a bit of lactose to create a creamy coffee treat." Coffee Stout, 10.5% ABV
