Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Maggie grew up in a household where fermentation was a familiar dinner table conversation. Her father spent much of his career working in production at Miller Brewing Company, sparking her early fascination with the science behind what goes into a glass.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eMaggie eventually traded Wisconsin winters for California vineyards, earning her degree in Viticulture and Enology from UC Davis in 2005. She joined Jordan Winery in 2006, working alongside founding winemaker Rob Davis, and steadily rose through the ranks before being named Head Winemaker in 2019.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIn more than 50 vintages of winemaking, Jordan has had just two winemakers, with Maggie becoming only the second in the winery's history.
