What's Fermenting

Lulumi Pinot Noir 2016

“Intense color with a precise bouquet of black cherry and raspberry.  The palate is medium bodied with red berry fruit and an elegant, long finish. Lulumi wines are inspired by the French country lifestyle and the idea that in every bottle of wine, there is a story.  It is filled with the uniqueness of place, a year of sun and rain, and the craft of winemaking.  The story is about adventure, the comfort of sharing a meal and spending precious time with friends and family. 100% Pinot Noir.”

Marietta Christo 2014

“Marietta's dad has a long history of honoring those he loves through wine. Marietta Cellars is now able to do the same and honor him with this rich, fruit-driven blend from their vineyards in Alexander Valley, McDowell Valley and the Yorkville Highlands. Christo, as his great-aunt Marietta called him, captures the closeness to the earth, strength, enormity of heart, and unfailing gentleness that the winemaker's father has. Blend: 60% Syrah, 22% Petite Sirah, 14% Grenache and 4% Viognier.”

Alvear Medium Dry Sherry

“Light amber in color. Classic aromas of toasted nuts. A nutty flavor with hints of dried figs, smooth with a touch of sweetness but dry on the finish. Fuller-bodied than a Fino. Nice length in mouth and nose.”
