Weekend Winemaker Open House feat. Piedmont Powerhouse Producers Pira and Renato Corino

We plan many events here at Ray’s, but not often do we receive the honor of showcasing regions and wines with the mind of a winemaker at our disposal, let alone two! Join us for a Mother’s Day Weekend extravaganza that will truly be unlike any event we've ever held before as we have the pleasure of hosting two of Piedmont's premiere producers, Luigi Pira and Renato Corino for an open house-style wine-tasting event and social gathering!

Joining us from Luigi Pira winery is Annalisa Pira, daughter of Gianpaolo Pira, one of the two Pira brothers currently in charge of the estate. Pira famously produces equally powerful and elegant Barolo from some of the most reputable single vineyards in Serralunga. Joining us from Renato Corino Winery is Ambassador Liliana Marrocco, who has worked directly with Renato for twenty-two years learning from the dynamic winemaking duo of Renato and his son Stefano. An exploration of these two producers together will highlight the meticulous vineyard focus and modern winemaking techniques that create the truly incredible wines La Morra, Piedmont has to offer.
