A nose rich with pear syrup, maple and cocoa, this bourbon layers on with each smell while raisin, vanilla and honeysuckle linger in the background. The palate is bursting with bright flavor; honeyed peaches, clove, nutmeg and brown sugar all grab the palate. Following this, there are more delicate notes of plum, cherry, pear and light oak. The finish is long and delivers leather, mint, raisin and cherry all riding a current of building rye spice.
