"Fruit forward and crisp on the nose, this whisky leads with pineapple, mango, strawberries and malt. This is balanced with graham crackers, brown sugar and toffee. The crispness carries over to the palate, showing a clean presentation of wine grapes, big golden raisin, pineapple and vanilla. There are some notes of roasted coffee, cocoa and baking spices on there as well, but limited behind the fruit. The finish carries raisins, roasted malt and brown sugar for a long while. Kavalan Oloroso Sherry Oak dilutes the Solist Oloroso Sherry with Kavalan spring water to 46% alcoholic strength. It is easy to drink and is the perfect single malt whisky to share with friends and family. Clean and complex with multiple layers of dried fruit, nuttiness and spices, it has some marzipan and vanilla touches to it.
